Using the Block Editor

The “Block Editor,” aka the Gutenberg Editor, is the default post editor you’ll see when opening up a post or page.

You can do a lot with the Block Editor: It loads quickly, can be used to customize layout and appearance in many ways, and offers a large library of widgets. However, for complex and feature-rich results, your developer still recommends using Elementor, which has been employed on key pages throughout the site.

Generally, all that you need to know in order to create content using the Block Editor, is to Add a new post and, as soon as it’s loaded, add a title in the very top line, then start typing away in the editing area.

You can read tutorials – like the one linked elsewhere in documentation – and your developer won’t argue against doing so, but there’s no substitute for just opening up a post, clicking on the things that you see in the interface, and watching what happens.
